Welcome to the Quilts 4 children web site.
My love of making children’s quilts began when I started making quilts for my grandchildren.
As an ex-Junior Primary school teacher, I could see the opportunities for learning that they could provide (and, of course, purely for decoration), colours, counting, matching patterns, songs to sing, etc.
I make all the quilts myself, here in South Australia, using a wonderful range of quality cotton fabrics. Each one is unique.
As with most quilters, there are always quilts ‘on the go’, so always check for new ones coming on line.
